INTERFACE HPMIP
The monitoring catheter is used with the Interface Module HpMip allowing connection with several models of invasive pressure monitors available in the market, avoiding the need for specific monitors.
The Interface Module HpMip has a zeroing button to atmospheric pressure and serves as an integrated extension cable to the monitoring catheter and the monitor.
1 - The Interface Module
- HpMip must be selected according to the model/brand of the pressure monitor available at the hospital for compatible connections.
2 - Catheter Connector
- Connector with safety lock to prevent unintentional disconnection.
COMPATIBLE CATHETERS
1 - PARENCHYMAL/SUBDURAL CATHETER:
- Made of flexible polyurethane tube, it allows subcutaneous tunneling without risk of rupture.Like all hpbio catheters, it is marked every centimeter to guide the introduction depth.
2 - VENTRICULAR CATHETER:
- Made of medical grade silicone, features specific lumen for liquor drainage allowing
attachment to an external ventricular drainage system during the monitoring procedure.
The catheter flexibility allows subcutaneous tunneling without risks of rupture.
3 - CATHETER FOR HEMORRHAGIC CASES
- To facilitate tunneling and fixation subcutaneous or bolt, the drainage catheter is implanted without the pressure sensor. The sensor will be introduced after the end of the surgery through the Y connector and moved to the distal tip of the catheter.
